Sabine Pigalle

Only a limited proportion of Pigalles work features the nude.

Many of these show either a ghostly white, or jet black figure, contrasting against, or merging into, similarly monochromatic backdrops. References to crucifixion, blood letting, and the Last Supper can be seen throughout her figure work.

Sabine Pigalle was born in 1963 and resides in Paris where she currently works.
